The compact and ergonomic LC 3000 workstation can be flexibly equipped to handle a wide variety of marking tasks. A wide variety of models guarantee a broad spectrum, and feature the following equipment:
- Servo-driven x-y-z-axis with a traveling distance of 500 mm (x-axis), 300 mm (y-axis) and 300 mm (z-axis)
- Servo-driven axis of rotation
- Servo-driven rotary table with Ø 650 mm
- Various jigs as required
- Servo-driven z-axis (stroke 300 mm)
- Servo-driven cabin safety door
- Internal extraction unit with filter insert optional
- Grooved plate - with perforated plate as an option
- 230 V/16 A interface
The rotary table is a fully automatic, ergonomic system with software control. It rotates 180 degrees in one direction to allow simultaneous mounting of new workpieces even as workpiece marking is proceeding on the other side. This saves time and makes for high productivity – including for small-batch and individual production runs subject to particularly high quality requirements. To ensure operator safety during workpiece setup, there is a laser safety glass separator in the housing between the setup area and the marking range.
Axis of rotation
The LC3000 workstation by Panasonic comes with many different expansion options in order to cater to the customer’s specific requirements. This includes a servo-driven axis of rotation with a three-jaw chuck serving as a workpiece bracket. The workpiece can be rotated about its own axis and marked circumferentially using this technology.
Numerous marking options
The LC3000 workstation offers maximum flexibility when marking components with different dimensions across a large marking range. The easy-to-use, customizable software can be used to control all axes and numerous different functions. All settings can be saved, and multiple components in the marking area can be marked in a single pass. The various models are suitable for all industries, and can handle any number of marking tasks.
Depending on the particular requirements, it is possible to align any number of jigs for the workpieces to be marked on the perforated plate. The components to be marked can be arranged in a wide variety of positions thanks to the numerous holes provided. Multiple workpieces can also be positioned on the entire perforated plate. Optimum utilization of the entire marking range (maximum: x=500, y=300, z=300) in the laser safety cabin is a perfect way to enhance productivity.
Integration of the laser systems
Regardless of whether you need a fiber laser marker or a CO2 laser marker: Every Laser Marking System as well as the LP-GS series can be integrated into the workstation's laser protective housing. As usual with Panasonic products, system solutions are selected depending on the specific application. The LC3000 workstation can be used to perform complex marking tasks on a wide variety of different materials and geometries. This is made possible by the combination of 4-axis control in the workstation and the 3D Laser Marking System.
Thanks to its intelligent design, the housing of the LC3000 is highly flexible. With its width of 800 mm and height of 1901 mm, as well as its swivel arm, the cabin fits perfectly through standard commercial doors.
