Laser Marking System
The LP-Z is equipped with 3D functionality and is particularly suitable for the marking of complex surfaces. The focus is adjusted automatically, guaranteeing stable energy density in the beam. This technology improves marking quality on large 2D surfaces up to a maximum of 330 x 330 mm². The LP-Z series is equipped with an encoder interface for the marking of objects moving down an automated production line. Naturally, the standard features also include the marking of various codes (Data Matrix code, various barcodes, expiration date, lot number, etc.).

360° view
Whichever way you look at it: Panasonic's Laser Marking Systems are real eyecatchers. They have been rendered for viewing in our online gallery so that you can rotate them 360 degrees. Even before you first talk to a Panasonic customer service expert, one thing is clear: We invest in innovation and rise to meet the challenges of the digital age.
3D marking
Thanks to its integrated z-axis control, the system guarantees the ability to mark complex shapes without compromising quality in the least in any part of the marking area. This makes the system ideal for a wide range of applications.

3D MARKING
Marking on-the-fly
Panasonic's Laser Marking Systems are equipped with an encoder interface. This makes it easy to perform marking on-the-fly at line speeds of up to 240 m/min.

ON-THE-FLY
Dual pointer
The dual pointer function visualizes the distance between the component and the Laser Marking System quickly and with ease. As soon as the dual pointer reaches the center of the work image, the correct working distance has been determined.

DUAL POINTER
Simulation with the guide laser
Those who would first like to visually inspect a marking position will appreciate this innovation. The high-visibility red guide laser indicates the position of the marking before it is actually made.

GUIDE LASER
High peak power
Panasonic’s LP-V and LP-Z series laser marking systems utilize MOFPA technology (Master Oscillator Fiber Power Amplifier), which provides a wide range of high peak powers and pulse widths. This allows resins as well as metals to be marked with ease.

PEAK POWER
Integrated
z-axis control
For flexible, precise marking on complex shapes: The z-axis control allows for the marking of oblique, convex and concave surfaces. With their 3D functionality, LP-Z / LP-M series fiber laser markers are among the stars in Panasonic's laser marking lineup.

Z-AXIS CONTROL
Interfaces offer a wide variety of options
The uniform controller software that comes pre-installed in the Laser Marking Systems guarantees simple and safe operation. There are numerous additional options available to help our customers get the most out of their systems. A high level of user-friendliness is achieved in combination with external computers and monitors. Thanks to the numerous interfaces available (e.g. USB, I/O), the Laser Marking System is able to communicate with other systems in many different ways.
NAVI plus for perfect marking
This easy-to-use configuration software lets you configure marking content and the parameterization on your PC/laptop.
Additional support programs are included in the software package by default to help the user in his or her particular application.
- Logo Data Conversion
- Logo Data Editing
- Export Vec (conversion of AI files to Marking Data)
- Font Maker
NAVI LINK-3D provides simulations
With the NAVI LINK-3D software, you are just a few short steps away from a 3D simulation of a product to be marked. Visualizing the marking with 360 degree representation allows the operator to quickly adjust the position and type of marking made on the product.
Applications
The sheer range of industries and applications for which Panasonic provides first-class solutions and systems is astounding. Our experts are able to draw on years of experience, helping them solve custom applications quickly and to perfection – just take a look at the photo gallery for some practical examples.

Carbonization of light resin enclosures
As shown in this application, the singular 3D axis control of the LP-Z series executes in only one step a quick and easy marking of different contents on complex shapes and simultaneously realizes a high contrast labeling.
Used laser:
-
Screw terminal
Even surfaces with different heights can be marked easily with the 3D functionality. Thanks to the unique MOFPA technology, very short laser pulses and extremely high peak powers can be achieved, which are perfectly suited for the carbonization of resin. This guarantees a high-quality marking on the whole component.
Used laser:
-
Marking enclosures
With the laser marking technique, an individual and customer-specific labeling of parts can be easily and quickly performed. Compared to conventional labeling methods like tampon printing, the method of laser marking requires no additional consumables or follow-up costs. Even extensive changes of the marking contents are easily to implement.
Used laser:
-
Removable suspension point for falling protection systems
The LP-Z series allows deep engraving and black marking on metals for applications requiring a high peak-pulse output power. Due to its combination of fiber laser, 3D functionality and MOFPA technology for selective pulse width modulation, the LP-Z is perfectly suited for such applications.
